Recreational Services offers three different community member categories to better fit the needs of our patrons. Please select a level below to read about membership stipulations and prices.

 

Two-week Free Trial

Potential members also have the option of sampling what we have to offer by taking advantage of a two-week trial absolutely free! Stop in the Pro Shop for full details. Please note that this offer is only valid once per household. Please bring a valid photo ID when signing up.



Community Level

Community memberships are available to any adult 18 and over, regardless of your city of residence. All annual community memberships are sold with one parking permit included in the price.

Affiliate Level
Affiliate memberships are available to any adult 18 and over, regardless of your city of residence. Approved Recreational Services affiliates receive discounted community membership rates to the SRWC as outlined below. Current affiliates include active Kent State Alumni Association members, NEOUCOM faculty and staff, members of Twin Lakes Country Club and staff of Robinson Memorial Hospital.


All annual affiliate memberships are sold with one parking permit included in the price. If your corporation is interested in becoming an affiliate, please visit our Corporate Membership section.

Non-prime Level

Non-prime memberships are available to any adult 18 and over, regardless of your city of residence. Facility access is restricted to 6 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all facility hours on the weekends.

Couple: A couple membership is valid for married couples and domestic partnerships. A marriage certificate may be required if your spouse does not have the same last name. Please read our domestic partnership policy for details on how to file a claim.


Family: A family membership is designed for a couple (defined above) and two or more children. Couples with one child should purchase a couple membership and add a dependent (defined below). Children two and under are free.


Dependent: Any SRWC member may purchase a dependent membership for his or her child/children age 3 - 17. The parent or legal guardian must have a membership of equal or longer duration. Children two and under are free.
 

  
The SRWC closes once a year for our annual maintenance shutdown. Maximum duration for this shutdown in 14 days. The annual membership price is set based on a 347 day membership.

The SRWC closes for the following holidays: New Year's Day; Independence Day; Thanksgiving Day; and Christmas Day.

The SRWC has adjusted hours of operation during the following: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Easter; Spring Break; Memorial Day; Labor Day; Veteran's Day; and Winter Break.


Patrons may pay for any purchase using cash, check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
