The Department of Recreational Services is pleased to offer general relaxation, therapeutic, sports and deep tissue massage. Massage is an excellent way to help reduce stress and tension levels, increase flexibility and promote general relaxation of the mind, body and spirit. Massage therapy is professional manipulation of the soft tissues of the body via methodical pressure, friction and kneading of the tissues. Massage is a way of treating yourself well for the hard work you put in day to day.

Relaxation Massage helps to promote a sense of overall health and well-being using primarily Swedish massage techniques.

Therapeutic Massage focuses on a specific problem or area of pain. It can promote healing of an injury and help to relieve chronic muscle pain.

Sports Massage may be utilized pre- or post- event, and can promote healing after an injury.

Deep Tissue Massage is a more intense type of treatment designed to release restrictions in the deeper musculature of the body through a variety of techniques.
