The P.E.A.K. summer camps are offered by the Department of Recreational Services for children 6-12 years of age. The camp opens doors to the wonders of art, entertainment, culture, nature, technology, and socialization within a university setting. Camp activities are designed to help each camper become more independent, enhance self-confidence, develop self-awareness and develop both mind and body in a fun and safe learning environment.

Each session is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic students and professionals. All counselors and camp supervisors are required to have current CPR/First Aid/AED certifications. In addition, all staff are trained on current child-related topics and concerns.

The safety of your child is our top priority. Our camper to staff ratio is 8:1 for all age groups. Staff members wear a first aid bag and two-way radio at all times so they are in constant contact with the camp supervisors, camp directors, and facility supervisors in case of an emergency.

Wonderful Wilderness I
Enjoy all that mother nature has to offer during this Wonderful Wilderness week that is focused on the great outdoors. Learn how to enjoy and survive in the wilderness through "hands on" activities, including how to set up a tent, how to build a fire and shelter, plus enjoy many other activities such as hikes in the woods. Spectacular Sports I
Here comes a week of plays, stats, and scores. Campers will "have a ball" as they form their own teams and celebrate their victories in their own "Hall of Fame." Learn about teamwork, healthy competition, and athleticism, exploring a variety of sports. (June 23 - 27)

The Extended Care program is for families who need before and/or after camp supervision. The extended care will be conveniently located in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Parents/Guardians utilizing the extended care program may drop-off or pick-up their child at any time during these hours.

EXTENDED CARE HOURS:
Before care, 7:30 - 9 a.m.
After care, 4– 5:30 p.m.

EXTENDED CARE FEES:
Before OR after - $20 per week
Before AND after - $30 per week
